The Fount Online Course includes so much of the core content that has been taught at our annual in-person workshop in years past- in an easy to access and affordable online experience. We took our main teaching presentations and recorded them in an online video format. There are over 40 videos- including NINE videos of raw, behind the scenes shoot footage so you can see how Rylee, Tiffany, and Alex each approach a portrait session!
You will receive a digital workbook to follow along, access to our private course facebook group, and recordings of past Live Q&A Sessions. The Fount Online Course is structured to take at your own pace, and all the teaching videos are downloadable for lifetime access! So whether it's logging in after your babies are in bed, while they're at school, or around that full time job- you can learn and get inspired when it works for you!

Rylee is a destination wedding and family photographer based in Alabama. Since beginning in 2009, her painterly sunset portraits and grainy black and white film work have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings and Vogue.com. Her work takes her all over the world, but her favorite place to be is at home with her husband, Andrew, and their three children.

Tiffany Farley
Meet your teachers
Tiffany is the founder of The Fount Collective, and a photographer of motherhood and family currently based in Coral Springs, FL. She is most known for her signature motherhood portraits created with black & white film.

ALEXANDRIA SMITH
Meet your teachers
Alex lives on a farm with her husband and their four children. Film and words are her mediums of choice in creating and preserving beauty in all seasons. She has been documenting beautiful mothers and their little ones on film for over 10 years now, and
continues to be inspired by their innate connections and organic rhythms. Motherhood is her muse, and love is her platform.

Valentina Glidden is a film photographer who specialized in Motherhood photography. She loves celebrating and documenting the tenderness and love of Motherhood. When she’s not photographing mamas and their babies, she’s at home raising her 3 boys. She calls Southern California her home.

Since 2015, Fount has hosted in-person workshops for motherhood photographers. Each workshop is an exquisite, one of a kind experience that has completely sold out every single year. This workshop experience was born out of a desire to see motherhood photographers recognized as the true artists they are.
Built from much of the content taught in the past at our in-person workshops, The Fount Online Course Experience is now available for photographers all over the world. We saw a need to provide education and inspiration that was easily accessible for the busy mom, the photographer who is unable to sneak away for a full week, or make the investment of an in-person experience.

The Fount Online Course experience includes NINE behind the scenes teaching videos of raw, real life shooting with Rylee, Alex, and Tiffany- including the shoots that produced the images shown here! Don't just see the highlights- watch first hand how we created the photographs. From posing direction, lighting choices, working with siblings, outdoor and indoor! We tell you what we are shooting with- both film and digital. Throughout each video, you will see us walking through the shoot, and then we share the actual images you saw us take and share our tips and thought process with you! You will be able to pause, take notes, reference again and again, and have access to our previously recorded Live Q&A sessions.

Can you explain what "online course" is? Will we be watching you teach live?
When the course begins you will be given a login to the course website. In the website, you will have access to pre-recorded teaching videos to watch at your own pace. Some of these videos are visual slides with the teacher's audio, while others show Tiffany, Rylee, or Alex photographing a shoot from behind the scenes with their audio that walks you through their thinking process.

Do I have to have internet to watch these videos?
Yes, since the videos are all hosted online within the course website, you will need to be connected to internet to watch any of the videos or access any of the content within the course website. However we have made our videos downloadable- so you can you download all the teaching for offline access and for your lifetime access and can watch whenever you want!

Is this exactly like the content you teach at the in-person Fount Workshop?
This online course experience includes much of the core content that Rylee, Alex, Valentina, and Tiffany have taught in years past at the in person workshop- however it does NOT include the full replicated educational experience that attendees receive at the in person workshop.

What is the schedule like?
Most of the course content will be available to you at purchase. We do have additional bonus content that will be added within 1-3 months. The course content is available to take at your own pace. You will have one year online access and will need download anything you want to keep beyond that date.

What are the shooting videos like?
We wanted to provide you with a raw, transparent, and real behind the scenes view of different types of portrait shoots in different locations. These were recorded in an everyday, casual filming quality so that you could have the opportunity to really see what the light was like, etc. Rylee, Tiffany, and Alex then each provide audio teaching to walk you through their thought process and shooting tips.

Is this for film photographers?
As with our in-person workshop, the content of this course is not film or digital specific. You will see a variety used in the shooting videos. One of our bonus videos includes an introduction to film with Rylee.

When will I receive my workbook?
Every student will have access to the digital workbook available for download. You can easily download the workbook and self print your copy, or take the file to your local office supply store and have it printed and bound on your own.

How do I sign up for my seat?
You have the option of paying in full, or choosing the payment plan option. Simply click on the payment option you prefer, and you will be taken directly to a check out page. After filling out those details and making payment, you will receive two emails. The first will be an automated email with your course login. The second email will link to the Facebook group and other welcome details.
